FansDirect Research publishes well-founded figures on fan platforms and creators in the Netherlands. Platforms such as OnlyFans and F2F publish almost nothing openly. We collect what can be measured, explain how we do it and make the data freely available.

Plenty of unsourced figures circulate in this industry. That's why we stick to four fixed rules.
FansDirect is an independent platform for fans and creators in the Netherlands. We earn part of our income through affiliate links to fan platforms. That doesn't influence these studies: the figures come from external or public sources, and the method is always stated on the page. Also read our ethics policy.

Frequently asked questions
What is FansDirect Research?
The research arm of FansDirect. We publish figures on fan platforms and creators in the Netherlands, based on public profile data, official annual figures and search data, always with the method alongside.
May I use the figures?
Yes. All studies and datasets fall under the CC BY 4.0 licence. You're free to use them, commercially too, as long as you credit FansDirect and link to the study.
Why don't platforms publish these figures themselves?
Fan platforms give little insight into their users. Only OnlyFans publishes annual figures, because as a British company it has to file annual accounts. Breakdowns by country, such as for the Netherlands, are not published by any platform.
How often are the studies updated?
We update the search data every quarter, the F2F Creator Index twice a year, and the OnlyFans annual figures as soon as a new annual report comes out. The date of the last update is at the top of each study.
